I am so happy to see beautiful pictures of Viet Nam in Peace, so different than the terrible pictures I remember of Viet Nam in War...

And I am very happy to see in pictures that the people of Viet Nam seem to be living like people elsewhere too, and in Peace again.

Thanks to Mr. Hamilton who takes us with him on his photographic voyage through beautiful Vietnam... That is not how I had imagined it...

I am glad that he took these pictures and showed them to me.

And he also teaches us a little bit of photography.

Each picture has a short description of the travel notes and also technical data on how the photograph was taken, with exposure, aperture, lens, ISO, etc.

I learned some good tricks, too... For example, a star trail... he explains "I set my camera on a tripod and using the time lapse function took 150 shots at intervals of 2 seconds. Using StarstaX for mac, I combined the images to create this star trail image." I didn't know what is "StarstaX for Mac" but now I know...

Note: I looked up StarStax and I found this: StarStaX is a fast multi-platform image stacking and blending software, which is developed primarily for Star Trail Photography. It allows to merge a series of photos into a single image, where the relative motion of the stars creates structures looking like star trails. StarStaX is available as Freeware for Mac OS X, Windows and Linux.
